Learning Log 3

For Literature, we were grouped into groups of three's to mimick the voice of the three witches'. Through the number selector, I have been grouped in the same group as Sheng Bo and Akmal. Hopefully, I can mimck the voice of the witch successfully with Sheng Bo and Akmal.For the comic script discussion, we used every one's work, and try to come up with the best sentence for each comic grid on Act 1 Scene 2. I think that it was a good exercise, as we can not only discuss our work, we can also improve our bonds with each other. During the lessons about Act 1 Scene 2, I find the lesson quite boring, as I do not quite understand the original passage. It took me quite some time to understand the original passage, and I had to refer quite frequently to the modern text so that I can understand the original text better. Overall, I still quite enjoyed the lesson.

Learning Log 2

At first, when I saw Mrs Woo performing one of the three witches in front of the whole class, I thought it would be easy for others who would be performing at that time. But when they were performing, I realised that it was much more difficult than I had imagined. I realised that we needed a lot of courage to perform using high or low pitch, as it would be really funny as we were not using our own voice, but a voice that others did not recognise. During the discussion, i learnt many other superstitions that i do not know about. I feel that superstitions are interesting and that it depends on us, whether we believe it or not.I think that last wednesday's presentation on superstitions is very interesting and it gave me a lot of information that I once did not know about and why they are said that way.

Learning Log 1

I have learnt that the word 'cinquain' is derived from the French word cinq, which means five. A cinquain is a five-line poem which the first line consists of only one word which is the title, the second line is the description which consists of  two words, the third line is the action which consists of three words, the fourth line is the feeling which consists of  four words, the fifth line, which is the last line, is the reflection on the title which consists of only one word. I feel that the lessons are too boring as it consists of only lessons from the textbook and nothing else. It can be improved by playing some games in class.
